Release in Amsterdam

December 11, 2010

The first release of Storms over Tulips–originally written in Dutch by Ronald Sanders and revised and translated by Hannie Voyles–will be on May 24, 2011, in Amsterdam, in conjunction with the installation of a memorial tile commemorating the 170 students of the First Montessori School who were exterminated by the Nazis. Hannie has long felt that her life work was to return to the city of her youth and honor the children who were her classmates and friends, those who lost their lives during the Holocaust. Most everything in that city and on her street has changed since that time, but the small bookstore where Hannie shopped as a child still exists.  They will be the first to receive copies of the book and will have them available several weeks ahead of the event.

It’s an honor to be part of this significant memorial!
